It’s a well-known fact that greens are healthy for humans so here we have a doggy equivalent. The product arrives in a resealable pouch and is a fine powder in consistency. The advice given is to go slowly in introducing this food. Just a punch in the first couple of days and gradually start increasing it. The company clearly states that it can take up to 3 months of daily use to see any benefits, so you just have to stick with it. It is easy enough to use though; you just sprinkle a small amount on top of your dog’s normal food, and they don’t seem to notice any difference. The ingredients are natural and human grade, and the product is manufactured in the UK which is always a good thing and useful to know. The two main benefits to look out for are helping your dog have a healthy digestive system, a happy tummy and firm stools. It is also beneficial in maintaining your dog’s coat and skin in its best condition. I have noticed that Millie’s coat feels softer and isn’t shedding as much, I’ll keep giving her the supplement and hope for further improvement.

I take a super green blend for myself so I was keen to see if my dogs would also get the benefits in their diet. I have an older dog and like most dogs of that age where her mobility is slowing down, she needs those extra top ups to her diet, rather than medicate her I always like to try a more natural alternative first. This is a powder which you can sprinkle on to your dog’s food, my dog seems happy with the taste, but I have found my dog will take any added powders better when I put Salmon Oil on top of the powder as opposed to just the powder on her food. Looking at the size of the pack and the maximum servings this works out at roughly 4.5 grams per teaspoon. Price (at time if writing full list price £19.95, 180g sized pack) & Value for money: Small dog under 10kg (22lb) = 40 days @ 1 teaspoon a day = 50p per day Medium dog 11kg-20kg (25lb to 44lb) = 27 days @ 1.5 teaspoon a day = 74p per day Medium dog 21kg-30kg (46lb to 66lb) = 20 days @ 2 teaspoons = £1 per day Large Dog 31kg+ (68lb+) = 13 days @ 3 teaspoons a day = £1.53 per day It has all the important ingredients that you would expect to see in this type of dog supplement. Since using this this I have noticed a slight improvement in her general mobility and her comfort levels do seem better as she settles easier, it is a work in progress and once you start your dogs on a regime it’s important to keep them on supplements if you want to see lasting changes. I’ve been adding this to my dog’s food for just under 2 weeks, so it’s a bit too early to comment on any noticeable changes but I’m really happy that the effective ingredients are working their magic in the background. There were no unpleasant digestion or side effects. My review is based on my own experience and is NOT to be taken as veterinarian advice, always do your own homework! First time ordering this product and from this supplier. Items were packed well and arrived promptly. Our Labs have tried the chicken broth, which was easy to make and added to their dry kibble. In the extreme heat, it’s a good way to ensure they remain hydrated alongside plenty of clean water.

A very large range of natural nutrients all in a single pouch. It is super easy to add to your dogs diet, simply sprinkle the powder on to your dog’s food during meal times. For our little cocker spaniel, that's about one teaspoon a day which means that the entire pouch should last us about 45 days, taking 1 tsp ~ 4g. She seems to like the taste, or is not bothered by it. She normally scoffs her food and with this on it there has been no difference. We tend to give it to her with her breakfast in the morning for a extra start to the day. The combination of greens and nutrients is great for helping maintain health skin, coat and digestive system. The price is around the same as other health focused powders we have used in the past. Overall very happy with the quality and value of this super greens powder.

Already a big fan of Honest Dog’s bone broth, so I was keen to give their Super Greens powder a go to give mealtimes an extra nutrient boost. The ingredient list is brilliant - proper whole foods that are great for digestion and coat health, and it’s nice knowing it’s made right here in the UK. It mixes easily enough into wet food or with a splash of warm water, and it goes down a treat with no turning up of the nose (my dog does love his veggies though). The only thing to bear in mind is that because it's packed with greens, it will leave your dog with a greenbeard after eating! If you've got a lighter-coloured dog, you’ll definitely need to give their face a quick wipe down after dinner. That minor cleaning detail aside, it's a quality topper and a great addition to their range.
